Historic Whidbey's acquisition of the 1866 Haller House in October 2018 signaled the long-awaited success of a six-year capital campaign. We offer our thanks to a very generous community of individual donors, and to a number of grantors who were indispensable to the campaign’s success: the National Park Foundation, the Norcliffe Foundation, the National Park Trust and the Coupeville Lions. We are indebted to all our supporters!

Our first ambitious rehabilitation goals for 2019 are the construction of a new perimeter stem wall foundation and the installation of a brand new roof - if season and funding cooperate.

Please consider making a tax-free donation to Historic Whidbey’s capital fund to help stabilize the structure from above and below. These two projects will buy time to pursue larger foundation and agency grants in the coming years.
